Showcasing the best creative work from the University of Salford’s School of Arts and Media students, Create Festival aims to inspire and encourage creative minds through a series of events, celebrating the achievements of talented final year students.
Working closely with a range of partners, including HOME, Hotel Football, Pilot Light TV Festival and Soup Kitchen, Create Salford will be presenting some of the most exciting student work the University has to offer. Events will be staged across multiple venues at The University of Salford, as well as in partner venues across the Salford and Manchester area.
Now in its fifth year, the Festival continues to build on the successes of previous years. Starting as a three day showcase event, Create Festival has now become a two month long arts festival, covering multiple arts and media-based areas.
At the Festival, visitors will have the opportunity to experience innovative student work at a range of events including the degree show, original theatrical, comedy and dance performances, live music, poetry readings, student journalism and media awards ceremonies, a fashion runway show and much more, concluding with the Student Awards Dinner.
