The health of Greater Manchester’s citizens is a priority for local authorities. Ill health slows down productivity, therefore good health and wellbeing is essential to safeguard long-term economic development (Manchester Independent Economic Review).
The Greater Manchester Directors of Public Health are leading the development of the first Public Health Strategy for the City Region, in collaboration with Public Health England, supported by Greater Manchester Public Health Network.
All sectors have a role in improving public health; therefore we want to work with you throughout the development and delivery of the strategy.
As a key partner, we would be delighted if you could contribute towards the development of the strategy and help us to agree on some joint actions and priorities, which will support you to deliver your outcomes and reach your objectives.
Please attend this important event to ensure the strategy dovetails with your delivery plans, or send a suitable representative.
