Nailing It, Maintaining It – A Buyer and Supplier Perspective

Join pro-manchester on June 12th at the Co-operative’s Manchester office for the second event from the Food and Drink Sector Group.

Speakers will be Kate Jones from the Co-operative and Paul Gorman from The Hidden Core Project. They will discuss and give tips not only on how to get your products to market but more importantly, how to make sure your products remain on the shelves once they get there. Speakers will share their advice and experiences on making sure that once your product reaches the shop shelves, you make the most of the opportunity and know how to develop and take your products to the next stage.

Kate is Head of Food Product at the Co-operative, responsible for the quality, safety and delivery of the Co-operatives own-brand range of 3500 products. Kate will be giving advice from a buyer’s perspective and sharing valuable tips from her experiences.

Paul will be sharing his experiences as a supplier, having founded the Clippy’s food and drink brand, selling into UK supermarkets and exporting to U.S.A. and China. He is also the Managing Director of The Hidden Core Project; providing consultancy, coaching, non-exec director and training services to deliver business growth to clients.

Please note that this event is aimed at food and drink companies, particularly start-ups and SMEs, and it is requested that anyone wanting to attend from a professional services background brings along at least one food client as their guest.
