Syngenta, the Swiss agricultural company, is growing their Manchester workforce.
The company, whose Global Operations Center in Didsbury, was opened by Sir Richard Leese last month have launched a recruitment campaign to attract employees, from procurement specialists through to analytics and performance managers.
The company will be holding a recruitment evening for potential employees as part of this campaign on Thursday 28th April at Crescent House, Didsbury. The event will take place from 5pm-7.30pm. Syngenta’s Manchester base will eventually create up to 200 jobs, 140 of which will be for local residents.

We selected Manchester after extensive assessment of possible European locations as the region provides access to a skilled workforce and enables us to take advantage of Manchester’s position in the UK’s emerging ‘northern powerhouse’. We are now increasing the size of our team and we’re looking forward to meeting potential staff at our event.”
The center, which focuses on operational activities associated with procurement, supply, IT and program services in Syngenta occupies 32,330 sq ft in Crescent House and represents a significant inward investment deal for the region.
