31 January, 2008 – GVA Grimley signs up Coffey for Atlas Business Park
Coffey Geotechnics, specialist advisors in geotechnical, contaminated land and environmental engineering has completed a deal at Atlas Business Park in South Manchester to take 8,000 sq ft of Grade 'A' office space.
Australian Parent company Coffey International has chosen to relocate its largest UK geotechnical office, (formerly Edge Consultants (UK) Ltd), from the neighboring business centre at Atlas House.
Coffey cite the excellent quality accommodation and terms on offer as major reasons for moving its flagship office to the Atlas Business Park.
This transaction follows recent deals at the Park with consultant and software provider Generis and The Civil Aviation Authority.
Richard Lace, from the GVA Grimley North West offices team is not surprised by the interest that has been shown recently in the South Manchester office market, saying: "This is quite a significant letting for South Manchester and shows long term commitment to Atlas Business Park.
"Activity in the South Manchester market has really been improving recently and Atlas Business Park offers occupiers the opportunity to acquire new Grade ‘A’ space on flexible terms and at a competitive rent."
