11 February, 2008 – Heywood Distribution Park announces a trio of new deals
SEGRO has started the New Year with a bang announcing a trio of deals at Heywood Distribution Park; setting the tone for a prosperous 2008.The deals follow a highly successful period for HDP, which saw 4 new tenants, including Eddie Stobart, take space at the park in one month alone.
The three new clients are: lighting maintenance company Prime Maintenance Services Ltd, caravan accessories specialist Cove UK and mobile phone accessories company, Hayat & Hu Corporation.
SEGRO’s Jane Leedham commented: "After an extremely successful period before Christmas, news of the recent deals underpins Heywood’s ability to cater for smaller companies as well as the larger requirements.
"The B units – smaller, speculatively built terraces – have proved to be increasingly popular and we are looking to have more success with these units in the future."
Chris Coughtrey from Prime Maintenance Services Ltd, said: "We saw a wonderful opportunity for us to improve our reputation and reduce our running costs by choosing Heywood Distribution Park.
"The professional way the business park is run in terms of security and its excellent facilities is why we chose HDP as the main location for our Northern business.
"The situation of Heywood itself is very convenient for the M62/M6 corridor and the all the relevant motorway links, which is vital to our business."
