8 January, 2008 – Meredith Belbin to speak at Old Trafford management seminar
Internationally renowned British management theorist Meredith Belbin will sort the shapers from the specialists at a Manchester event in March.
The visiting professor and Honorary Fellow of Henley Management College has been invited by HR, training and recruitment consultancy The Urquhart Partnership to share his expertise at Old Trafford Stadium on March 6th .
Belbin is respected worldwide for identifying nine team roles – namely the plant, resource investigator, coordinator, shaper, monitor evaluator, teamworker, implementer, completer finisher and specialist – while studying behaviour at Henley Management College in the 1970s.
His characterisations of the strengths and weaknesses of individuals have been adopted globally to improve workplace relationships by everyone from HR professionals to Hollywood film directors.
