Business Growth Hub has announced a partnership with Creative England and The Landing to boost support for Greater Manchester’s digital, creative and technology SMEs.
Led by Business Growth Hub, the new partnership, which is supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), will offer SMEs within the sector help to develop products and access new supply chains and markets.
Creative England is a creative industries accelerator that invests in, champions and nurtures creative talent and companies in film, TV, games and digital media. Creative England has an extensive media network with major brands such as the BBC, Microsoft, and Disney, and will work with the Hub through ProConnect, a three-year partnership funded by ERDF and the British Film Institute, to support the growth of Greater Manchester’s creative industries.
Based in MediaCityUK, The Landing is a technology enterprise hub that offers market-leading facilities, including usability testing labs and post production, along with office space, co-working, events and business support. Focusing on mentoring and peer-to-peer support, the organisation offers businesses a plug and play environment to achieve growth. The Landing will run a series of one and two-day workshops over the next three years that offer technology and digital businesses an advanced level of training in areas such as user testing, technical sales and upskilling in new technologies like virtual reality.
