Manchester’s inward investment agency, MIDAS, has today released its end-of-year figures, which show the agency has once again exceeded targets – supporting the creation of 3,182 new jobs across Greater Manchester in 2010-11.
MIDAS is set to attend LogiCon, the retail and FMCG Global Logistics & Supply Chain Conference, on 1 – 3 February, 2011, in Amsterdam.
According to this year’s Cushman & Wakefield European City Monitor survey, Manchester has moved up four places from last year’s ranking to 12th position as the most favourable city in Europe to do business and remains the most familiar UK city outside London.
