MIDAS, Manchester’s inward investment and development agency, has won two gold awards at the Northwest Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) awards held at the Hilton Hotel, Manchester.
The agency won Gold awards for Best Publication for ‘Manchester – The Black Book’ and Best Leaflet for ‘The Bank of New York Mellon Case Study’.
More than 350 people from the worlds of marketing and PR gathered for the annual awards that recognise outstanding achievement in the Northwest.
The award-winning marketing collateral is used to encourage inward investors to locate and invest in Greater Manchester and showcase the city as one of Europe’s premier business locations.
The judges said of the Black Book: “This is a comprehensive, freshly designed, ring bound guide that oozes confidence and caught the eye of the judges. As a guide for consultants and potential investors it seemed second to none. It is rare to find examples that illustrate inward investment so effectively.”
The Bank of New York Mellon case study, a powerful calling card detailing the bank’s successful relocation, was also described by the judges as being ‘well ahead’ of all other nominations.
Colin Sinclair, Chief Executive, at MIDAS said: “I’m very proud of the achievements of the MIDAS Marketing team who continue to lead on the vital international business marketing of the Manchester City Region.”
