MIDAS, Manchester’s inward investment and development agency, has been shortlisted for two awards at the Northwest Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) awards.
The agency has been shortlisted for Best Newsletter for the ‘MIDAS Ebulletin’ and Best Use of Photography or Design for ‘Andrew Brooks Photography – A Fresh Look at Manchester’.
The PRide Awards is the only awards scheme which showcases the best PR work being carried out across the UK regions and nations. Winners will be announced at a presentation dinner taking place in November.
There are twelve areas taking part in the PRide Awards – East Anglia; Home Counties South; Midlands; North East; North West; Northern Ireland; Scotland; Thames and Chiltern; Wales; West of England; Wessex and Channel Islands and Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.
The judging process is rigorous with a national panel of industry experts assessing the shortlisted entries and choosing the winners. For 2010 we appointed two Chairs of Judges, Alison Clarke and Chris Genasi, who will resolve any disputes and help ensure a fair and consistent judging process.
Jay O’Connor, CIPR President said: “The CIPR PRide Awards are a celebration of PR achievement and a showcase of campaigns implemented by the best of the best from across the UK. I offer my congratulations to all those who have reached this stage of the competition. Now more than ever, demonstrating the value of what we do, and the positive impact we have, is tremendously important. Thank you to all involved – the entrants, judges and teams.”
