Manchester Airport has announced that they will once again be staging a direct return flight to Nice for MIPIM 2012 – the world’s leading property and inward investment market conference. This will be an exclusive service for Manchester’s property and inward investment professionals who are seeking to fly out to the four-day event.
MIPIM 2012 will be the twelfth year that the Manchester partnership has represented the city at this important industry event.
MIPIM brings together influential real estate professionals – including investors, developers, architects, hotel groups, public authorities, end-users and property associations – who gather together for networking, deal-brokering and development of international business relations.
It has established itself as an essential meeting place for the city administrations that attend in order to promote inward investment opportunities and to discuss major key policy issues that urban conglomerations are facing around the world.
The MIPIM 2012 flight package includes return flights from Manchester to Nice, plus luxury coach transfers to Cannes; complimentary access to the T1 Escape Lounge at Manchester Airport; and a 25kg luggage allowance with free carriage of golf clubs and bikes. The flight departs on the morning of Monday 5th March 2012 (11am), returning on the afternoon of Friday 9th March 2012 (2.30pm).
The dedicated service has been arranged by MAG Developments, the property arm of the Manchester Airports Group (MAG), owner of East Midlands, Humberside, Manchester and Bournemouth airports. MAG Developments is also leading the development of Airport City, the major Enterprise Zone project at Manchester Airport.
Stephanie Mullenger, Business Development Director of MAG Developments, said: “Feedback was very positive for the last MIPIM flight, so building on our collaborative approach, the service will again be operated at cost price and we extend our invitation beyond just those in the North West region. Manchester Airport’s comprehensive links to the rail network opens this flight up to MIPIM attendees across the whole of the North of England, Scotland, Wales and the Midlands.”
Since the Manchester at MIPIM 2012 partnership launched at the MIF pavilion on Albert Square (on 13 July 2011), Co-operative Estates has joined as an official sponsor, whilst Wilmott Dixon Construction Ltd, Addleshaw Goddard and 5plus Architects have all joined as associate partners.
Seats are now on sale for Manchester’s MIPIM flight and prices have been frozen at £225 one-way or £400 return (inc tax + charges). In 2011, over 18,600 attendees, representing 6,400 companies and 90 countries were in attendance at MIPIM. For more information, or to book a seat, go to: www.mipimflight.co.uk
