Quorum Estates Ltd has acquired a former logistics and distribution site in Heywood, Bury from Hanson Transport Ltd, who was advised by Nolan Redshaw.
Located on Moss Hall Road off junction 3 of M66 motorway, Quorum has acquired the 4.4-acre for an undisclosed sum.
The development, which will be known as Quest Park, comprises three buildings measuring 5,388 sq m (58,000 sq ft) in total, 465 sq m (5,000 sq ft) of which is occupied by ATS Euromaster.
On the acquisition, Paul Cook of Quorum Estates commented: “We acquired the site within a tight timeframe just before Christmas.
"In response to occupier requirements, we will be dividing the two existing units into smaller units of 2,500 sq ft up to 30,000 sq ft, which will be fully refurbished and then available either to buy or lease.
"In addition, there is around 2 acres of development land at the front of the site, capable of accommodating up to around 30,000 sq ft of office or industrial development. Heywood remains a prime location for both local and national companies due to its excellent motorway links."
Dan Crawshaw of Nolan Redshaw added: "Following our initial appointment by Hanson Logistics in October last year, we negotiated with a number of parties before finalising the deal with Quorum.
"We have now been retained by Quorum to market Quest Park which, in addition to the existing units, offers the potential for additional development at the front of the site."
Nolan Redshaw are joint agents for the scheme with King Sturge.
