Today, the University signed a broad co-operation agreement with ALHOSN University, a prestige private university, based in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
The agreement marks an important step in realigning both universities’ strategic plans for broader international outreach and co-operation in the areas of joint research, joint study programmes development and staff student exchange.
The agreement was signed by University of Salford Vice-Chancellor, Professor Martin Hall, and ALHOSN University Vice-Chancellor and CEO Professor Abdul Rahim Sabouni.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Martin Hall said: “We are delighted to formalise our co-operation. This new agreement offers a real contribution toward our goal of further Internationalising the University of Salford, which is key to our growth strategy.
“We expect our initial contribution to be led by our School of the Built Environment, which is rated amongst the foremost schools in the world for built environment study and research, but there are also exciting possibilities in the areas of engineering, computing and business to explore.”
