Leading financial technology company, WorldPay, has today announced the creation of 200 roles in its new Manchester office in Hardman Square, Spinningfields.
The move follows a decision to relocate two of its main back office functions, Financial Business Services and Risk.
The company, which specialises in payment processing and currently employs over 3,000 people across the UK, US, Europe and Asia, is in the process of a large transformation programme following its divestment from RBS in 2010.
WorldPay CFO, Aidan Connolly, commented: “We have made significant progress in evolving our business since we became an independent company. We are investing heavily in growing and maintaining our market leading positions. Investment in people is vital to our strategy going forward as we continue our journey to become the world’s leading independent payment processing company.”
