Taking climate action today, tomorrow, together for a greener, fairer and more prosperous city region.

Now in its eighth year, Greater Manchester’s Green Summit 2026 will be held in-person at The COOP Live on March 3 2026, hosted by the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham.

Bringing together businesses, community groups, policymakers, suppliers, industry, local government and academia, the summit will not only bring to life the actions required within GMCA’s 5-year Environment Plan, to enable the region to reduce its climate impact and increase the quality of its biodiversity, it will also illustrate how the Environment Plan contributes to the delivery of the seven workstreams within the Greater Manchester Strategy.

Through coming together with a shared vision, it will create a great networking arena to facilitate the sharing of information, whilst creating connections and collaboration opportunities to enable the acceleration of action.

The full programme of events and further information will be revealed in the run up to the event on Greater Manchester Green Summit 2026 | GMGreenCity
