  • An energy consultancy offering an expert, tailored and transparent energy service for hospitality businesses, has opened in Manchester.

  • Energy PEAK, a unique start-up led by two electrical utility professionals with over 15 years’ experience, say they will offer a competitive service to business owners in the hospitality sector.

Energy PEAK, Manchester’s newest energy consultancy focusing on hospitality businesses today has entered the U.K. market. The Start-up with 15-years electric utility experience promises a strong customer-first approach and a digital-led customer service making fees clear and reducing time wastage for business owners. Energy PEAK will also expertly guide their customers on how to review and reduce their energy consumption, ensuring all potential savings are identified.

Their mission is clear – to ensure transparency through a clear fee structure but also by energy education; explaining how energy is used, giving advice based on future energy predictions, as well as successful ways businesses can save money.

Energy PEAK’s digital-first approach means customers can access services and information instantly, but the company also understand the importance of building long-term relationships – and part of their promise is keeping in touch with customers throughout the year, not just at renewal times.

Managing Director, Jeff Walsh, describes the company’s vision - its focus on transparency in the energy sector:

“We want to work with all players in the business energy industry towards an open and honest future. One where every customer understands exactly what they’re paying and what they’re getting for that fee.”

Walsh added,

“Energy PEAK are proud to start a business and invest in one of the UK’s most dynamic and innovative cities. Manchester has a long and successful history of entrepreneurship, an ambitious target of carbon neutral living by 2038 and a strong concentration of STEM graduates combining people, creativity, and innovation. This aligns directly with our ambitions to develop our people to be the energy leaders of tomorrow, inspire them to use their imagination bringing new ideas forward and constantly challenging themselves to do things differently – we see our future aligning perfectly with the principals of this fantastic city.”

Tim Newns, CEO of MIDAS, commented:

“The news of Energy PEAK’s arrival into the city is extremely welcome during this time, especially as their service proposition aligns with Greater Manchester’s carbon neutral ambitions. The company’s transparency and education around energy usage will help provide businesses in the hospitality sector with the resilience needed as they emerge from the current lockdown. Energy PEAK join a thriving community of rapid growth businesses with a pool of expert talent at their disposal and I have every confidence that our city region has the essential ingredients for their future growth and success.”
