About the Company:

Seda Group is a pioneering life sciences company specialising in pharmaceutical development and clinical manufacturing services.

With a strong focus on innovation, Seda has established itself as a key player in the pharmaceutical research and development sector.

Founded in 2015, the company has consistently grown and expanded, addressing critical gaps in pharmaceutical development integrated with clinical pharmacology. Their state-of-the-art facility at Cheadle Royal Business Park represents a significant investment in the UK's life sciences infrastructure.

Greater Manchester Growth Story:

The new Seda Clinical Manufacturing Services (CMS) is due to become fully operational in early 2025 after an £8 million investment.

At full capacity, the facility is projected to create up to 100 high-skilled jobs over the next five years, with more than half of its projected revenue coming from international clients.

The facility enables Seda to supply investigational medicinal products for clinical studies, expanding the company's capabilities in GMP manufacturing, testing, and supply.

The move underscores the growing demand for advanced pharmaceutical services in the UK, with Seda choosing Greater Manchester to leverage its world-class life sciences ecosystem, talented workforce, and strategic connectivity.

This expansion reinforces Greater Manchester's position as a key player in the UK's life sciences sector and a major innovation hub within Europe.
