6point6, the digital transformation, cyber security and data specialist, is expanding its UK operations and setting up a new base in Greater Manchester. 

The last decade has seen the area become the fastest growing tech hub in Europe, where global enterprises rub shoulders with tech start-ups, many of which have spun out of the region’s renowned universities: University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan, Salford and Lancaster. 

In addition, the emergence of a North West Cyber Corridor, has seen the area from Lancaster to Greater Manchester become a destination of choice for the UK’s cyber security community, with organisations, including GCHQ, opening new facilities in the region.

Currently based at HOST in MediaCity, the team at 6point6 expect to move to their permanent location later this year in one of the city’s newest innovation hubs.
